Patricia and I have just returned from an exciting and profitable time with friends in Michigan (had an opportunity to minister in song to a group Sunday AM), then a stop-over in St. Louis to attend several sessions of the ION (International Orality Network) of which Avery Willis was a founder and served as director before his home-going. It was an eye-opening experience and will be a major help to me in writing Avery’s story as we found ourselves among representatives of the orality movement from many parts of the globe.
