It is with confidence and faith that we enter a new decade, not trusting in what we can do, but on what God has promised: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). So, appropriating by faith what God has said, we can say:
There is no need to look too far ahead,
for Jesus said to ask for daily bread.
We don’t know what tomorrow has in store,
but that our God provides, we can be sure.
Provision that comes straight down from heaven above,
my needs provided by a God of love.
So for this day, and this alone I pray,
Give me the strength I need, Lord, for today.
Lord, there are days when I don’t understand
what You are doing, but I know your hand
is wrapped ’round mine, and once again I see
You’re all I need; You’re my sufficiency.
Lord, make me neither rich, nor make me poor,
for in a rich estate, who can be sure
but that the riches take our minds off Thee,
or thankless hearts be born in poverty.
It’s not for me to ask the ‘hows or whys,’
It is enough to know my God supplies.
I’ve tested this and I know that it is true
that when I’ve trusted Him, He’s seen me through.

May God bless you and your family this new year. I have tried to use the contact form, but it does not seem to be working. I am trying to get the sheet music to God’s Plumbline so that a friend of mine and I can sing it in our church. I would be happy to pay for it.
In Christ
Joel, I apologize for not responding to your question about God’s Plumb Line. If you are still interested in getting a copy of the music email me at ronowens3@gmail.com
